After graduating high school, Rick served in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he was an Instructor Air Surveillance Technician on the AWACS radar airplane. During this time, he was part of the aircrew and performed operational missions globally. When he was not flying, he individually instructed crew members and taught classes for the squadron.

 

During the early 1990’s he worked as part owner of a family business that owned multiple UNOCAL facilities.  This period provided invaluable experience working in a team environment, leading, helping with financial decisions, and learning business principles.

 

Feeling led to pursue a career in pharmacy, Rick received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in May of 2000.  For the past 22 years he has served and helped patients with their healthcare outcomes. He has been in store management for 18 of those years and has led multiple teams, pharmacy acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Rick and his wife Teri have three children and a daughter-in-law. In his community, he also serves on the local Young Life committee. He and Teri attend University Christian Church. Rick has a heart for God, helping to grow His Kingdom, and loves to serve others.

 

Psalm 22 has a special place in Rick’s heart. When we are troubled or feel we are forsaken or
left alone. Remember Christ did that for us and He was the only one truly forsaken by the Father. 

 

“We are never truly forsaken.”  God is AMAZING!
